Jeral Tidwel, graphic artist
![]() Since 1988, Jeral Tidwel has designed art for everything from cars, boats, and computer cases to album covers, posters, and magazine covers, for clients ranging from the mayor of New Orleans to major recording artists Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow, and the Foo Fighters. Jeral began his professional career as an airbrush artist at the mall. He had no formal trainingjust a passion to draw. Ever since he was a little kid growing up in Louisiana, he says, his only desire has been to have a pencil in his hand creating art. This self-taught pop culture artist has now taken his trade all over the United States and around the world. Jeral recently signed a deal to tour abroad for eight months showing his art at computer gaming conventions. Other projects in the works include decks, posters, stickers, T-shirts, hot rod paint jobs, and childrens books. More of Jerals story and samples of his art are available at humantree.com.
