![]() On April 14, 2005, Sena Jeter Naslund began a two-year term as Kentucky poet laureate. In that position, the novelist and educator will travel the state promoting the literary arts and Kentuckys rich writing tradition. A distinguished teaching professor at the University of Louisville, Sena is also the co-founder and program director of the Master of Fine Arts in Writing program at Spalding University. She founded the Fleur-de-Lis Press in Louisville and edits a literary magazine, The Louisville Review. bookclub@ket has featured two of Senas novels: Ahabs Wife in July 2000 and Four Spirits in January 2004.
