This “best of” edition of Mixed Media spotlights some outstanding profiles and performances from recent programs. In documentary segments, we look back at Louisville’s blues history, including singer Sara Sylvester (above), and explore the art of Lexington painter Shirley Mason, whose battle with multiple personality disorder was chronicled in the book and movie Sybil. The featured musical guests are the Walnut Street Blues Band and unusual classical ensemble Akordeonam.
