All educators running early childhood programs are naturally interested to know (and often are legally obligated to demonstrate) the progress being made by the children under their care. In this series, we explore the value of assessment in documenting young children’s progress, discuss the various observational methods used to assess young children, and analyze several systems used to organize and collate the data.
