The third major background piece for the set was a representation of the circus’ equipment truck. In addition to conveying basic information about the size, scale, and look of each piece, Bob’s construction drawings included notes about the hardware and materials required. But because he would be building the pieces himself, the drawings did not need to have the kind of detail that would be necessary for another carpenter to use them as “blueprints.”
