KET College Courses are fully accredited college-level courses brought to you by means of television. The main difference between KET College Courses and on-campus courses—and what makes taking these courses so convenient—is that the majority of your classes come to you at home via KET. In addition to the video programs, the many components that make up courses (including textbooks, study guides, reading assignments, and instructor interaction) allow for a complete educational experience for the student. Throughout Kentucky, state universities, community colleges, and independent institutions offer credit to students enrolled in KET College Courses. If you want to earn college credit, but find it difficult to fit weekly on-campus classes into your busy schedule, KET College Courses can help you achieve your goal. Our courses offer an exciting learning experience by presenting a body of knowledge through the use of telecommunications. For more than 25 years, KET and the Kentucky Telecommunications Consortium (KTC) colleges and universities have worked together to provide access to college credit through distance learning, primarily to non-traditional students. More than 130,000 student enrollments have been reported in KET College Courses. |
