Bruce S. Gordon, NAACP
Bruce S. Gordon was president and CEO of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. He has been named one of Ebony magazine’s 100 most influential black Americans and was chosen to head the NAACP in 2005 after a 35-year career in the telecommunications industry. He has also been active with the United Negro College Fund and the Urban League.
Note: Gordon resigned the NAACP position in March 2007.
