Dot Dunn, Lakeview Point Bed and Breakfast

Entrepreneur Dot Dunn and her son Brad own Lakeview Point Bed and Breakfast on Lake Herrington near Harrodsburg. Located in a Prairie-style house built in 1988, the inn opened in 2004 as the only bed-and-breakfast in Kentucky operated by an African American. Dunn offers her guests hearty, Southern-style breakfasts, and the inn’s amenities range from on-site massage therapy to a business center.
