Aaron Thompson, sociologist
Aaron Thompson is an Eastern Kentucky University sociology professor and an expert on cultural diversity issues. A Clay County native, he earned his bachelor’s degree from EKU and a master’s degree and doctorate in sociology from the University of Kentucky. He has served in various administrative positions at EKU, including as associate vice-president for academic affairs-university programs. He is the owner of Cultural Awareness Associates and co-owner of Ripple Effects Resources.
