Will Allen, Growing Power Inc.
Will Allen, founder and director of Growing Power in Milwaukee, Wisc., grew up on a farm and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami. He played professional basketball for a time and worked for a number of years in marketing for Proctor and Gamble. Since 1995 he has been CEO of Growing Power. He won a MacArthur Fellowship in 2008 for his work.
