Getting to College (#107)

Topics include the importance of exposing kids to higher education at an early age; finding scholarships and getting other financial assistance; and the community resources available to help prepare young people for the college experience, both academically and socially.

The guests for this special edition are Janell Hocker, founder and executive director of the Step Higher program in Northern Kentucky; Charlene Walker, interim vice president of multicultural affairs at Bluegrass Community and Technical College; and Phyllis Clark, assistant director of admissions for diversity recruitment at the University of Louisville.
