Mahjabeen Rafiuddin and the Everytown Kentucky project (#114)
The program focuses on Everytown Kentucky, a week-long residential institute that brings high school students of various ethnic, religious, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds together to work on building a model community based on respect. Renee also speaks with the teen-agers who have attended Everytown about what they have learned about tolerance and community building.
Everytown is a project of the Kentucky Conference for Community and Justice, which is the state chapter of the National Conference for Community and Justice, an anti-bias organization formed more than 50 years ago and originally known as the National Conference of Christians and Jews.
