Teresa Isaac, Lexington mayor (#208)

In this interview, Lexington Mayor Teresa Isaac outlines what she sees as her most important accomplishments of her four-year term—from improving pay and pension for police and firefighters to fostering better relations among different ethnic groups—and discusses her personal goals and what led her into politics.

Looking toward the future, Isaac says she is interested in running for statewide office, possibly that of state treasurer. She says she also may make another bid for the 6th District U.S. House seat.
