Garry R. Bibbs, sculptor (#319)
Sculptor Garry R. Bibbs talks about his time studying with internationally renowned sculptor Richard Hunt at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He also talks about his extensive exhibition history, including showings at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C., the Ruschman Art Gallery in Indianapolis, and the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati.
The artist, a Louisville native, goes on to discuss his work as a member of the Pew Civic Entrepreneur Initiative, a Lexington coalition group whose goal is to confront and solve issues relevant to the community on race relations and leadership.
