J. Michael Brown, Justice and Public Safety Cabinet (#411)
With the population of inmates in Kentucky prisons on the rise, Brown discusses the strategies the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet intends to implement to address the issue during the 2009 General Assembly.
He also addresses the online gambling dispute, highlighting the ways in which his cabinet is cracking down on illegal gambling sites, as well as his hope that his cabinet will receive further aid from the Kentucky legislature to regulate online gambling.
In addition, Brown addresses his intention to increase state police ranks and other plans to improve Kentucky law enforcement.
