Anthony Wright, who is organizing the annual Lexington-Bluegrass Minority Business Expo in August, discusses the event’s keynote speakers and seminars, including a session on how small businesses can get involved in the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Wright says that one of the major goals of the conference is to encourage large corporate entities to diversify their supply chains by working with smaller minority-owned businesses.

Marilyn Clark of Worksmart discusses her path to becoming a business owner and offers advice to those hoping to launch their own enterprises. She stresses the importance of solid business and financial plans and lists the many resources she uses to improve her business.
