Connections with Renee Shaw

Mario J. Radford calls his music “gumbo musicology,” a blend of gospel music with classical worship ballads and contemporary Christian sound. Born in Western Kentucky, he grew up in Nicholasville and went to Kentucky State University. He recently released his first gospel CD, Hidden, which he says was inspired by his own life experiences and challenges, including being sexually abused as a child. Now he serves as worship leader for New Hope The Vision Center in Natchez, Miss.
