Frank X Walker, a native of Danville, is an associate professor of English and co-chair of the Africana Studies Initiative at the University of Kentucky Department of English. He is a founding member of the Affrilachian Poets and is founder and editor of PLUCK!, the new Journal of Affrilachian Art & Culture.
