The University of Kentucky's South Africa Initiative (#620)
Guests are Mark Lawrence Kornbluh, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and professor of history at the University of Kentucky; Susan Carvalho, associate provost for international programs at the University of Kentucky; and Steve Wrinn, director of The University Press of Kentucky. Dean Kornbluh has traveled to South Africa for 10 years to gather oral histories from the major participants of the anti-apartheid struggle. Carvalho chairs the International Advisory Council at UK. Wrinn has worked with a wide range of prominent scholars in his career as a history professor and publisher.
