Amachi Central Kentucky (#634)

"Amachi" is a Nigerian Ibo word that means "Who knows but what God has brought us through this child." The program began in Philadelphia and now operates across the country. Amachi Central Kentucky is an initiative of the Lexington Leadership Foundation. Our guests are Miles Phelps, an Amachi mentor and recruitment coordinator; Kathy Allen, a caregiver for two Amachi children; and mentors Vanessa and Michael Jamahl Glaze.
