Black Males Working Academy (#703)

Participants in the Black Males Working Academy meet each week with the staff for sessions focused on literacy, math, spiritual growth, leadership skills, ACT prep, and other areas. The BMW Academy is a partnership between First Baptist Church Bracktown and the Fayette County Public Schools. Candidates for the program submit a copy of their report card, references, and an essay explaining why they would be a good candidate.

In addition to tutoring, benefits for students include working with mentors from the community and participating in summer programs. Students are also eligible for college scholarships.
