Judith Clabes (#708)
Judith Clabes, a Henderson native who now lives in Bourbon County, has a distinguished career in journalism and philanthropy. During 37 years with the E.W. Scripps Company, she served as Scripps' first woman editor, beginning with the Sunday Courier and Press in Evansville and then for 13 years with The Kentucky Post in Covington. She was then president and CEO of the Scripps Howard Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the E.W. Scripps Company Foundation. In 2008 she founded the Kentucky Philanthropy Initiative.
