Michael Albert (#711)
Michael Albert is a veteran activist, writer, and speaker whose interests cover political economy, U.S. economic policies, and the media. He writes about a movement he calls "parecon," short for participatory economics. According to Albert, parecon is a vision for an alternative way to operate an economy, instead of capitalism or twentieth century socialism.
