Steven Thurston Oliver and Rev. D. Anthony Everett (#731)
Steven Oliver, assistant vice president for the UK Office for Institutional Diversity, earned his doctorate from New York University. His dissertation sought to understand the ways in which black males attending predominantly white institutions make use of institutional support structures.
The Rev. D. Anthony Everett is a lead Christian social activist at Nia Community of Faith, a Methodist faith community in Lexington. He also serves on the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Human Rights Commission and is an adjunct professor of religious studies at Spalding University.
