Jim Embry of the Sustainable Communities Network (#735)
The Lexington-based Sustainable Communities Network defines sustainability as the ability of the community to meet its needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs.
The group encourages people to buy food directly from farmers, eat organic foods, and buy fair trade products. It also helps schools and other groups start community gardens.
