Jane Beshear has a full plate of initiatives, ranging from education to health to tourism.
A former teacher, she talks at length about education, literacy, and her efforts to raise the school dropout age in Kentucky from 16 to 18.
She also discusses domestic violence and her work to collect needed goods and funds for the 15 domestic violence shelters in Kentucky through the Shop and Share program.
She also explains her other initiatives, including breast cancer awareness, community gardening, and adventure tourism.
