Jakobi Williams (#834)
Jakobi Williams, a Chicago native, is an assistant professor in the history department at the University of Kentucky. His research interests are centered on questions of resistance and the social justice revolutions found within the historic African American community. He earned a B.A. in history and minor in Black American studies from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and his master's degree in African American Studies and doctorate in history from the University of California at Los Angeles.
