Segment One, Dress for Success Lexington:
Guests are the local Dress for Success affiliate co-founder Analisa Wagoner and fundraising chair Amy Wickliffe. Dress for Success is located in Eastland Shopping Center in Lexington, where there is boutique space for clients, as well as a Career Center. Dress for Success serves clients by referral only. Its first fundraiser, Recycle the Runway, is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 17, from 11:30 am-1 pm, at the Grand Reserve, 903 Manchester St., Lexington. Segment Two, Kentucky Pink Connection:
Guests are Vickie Blevins-Booth, executive director of Kentucky Pink Connection, which provides support for breast cancer survivors during diagnosis, treatment, and recovery; and Bobbie Neihaus, a 32-year-old breast cancer survivor who learned she had the disease on December 12, 2012. She shares her experience, treatment, coping methods, and recovery. Kentucky Pink Connection can help clients with transportation, mastectomy supplies, child care, financial assistance, and more.
