William Kilmartin It is clear that government services will be available on the Internet. What is unclear is how to fund this additional service-delivery channel. A recent survey by the Center for Digital Government illustrated that citizens are willing to pay a fee for online services. Is this the best way to move forward? What models have proven to be effective? Government organizations can choose from many alternatives, but what are the pros and cons? While the answer will depend on the particular jurisdiction, the debate remains the same.
