Matthew Trail
Director of Sustainable Communities, Mountain Association for Community Economic Development (MACED)

The digital divide, often referred to in terms of the haves and the have-nots, is not just a question of affordability. Education and physical location also play important roles in creating a digital divide. This panel discusses the digital divide as it relates to educational and nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and local government organizations throughout Kentucky. The purpose of this discussion is to highlight some of the challenges these groups face in bridging the digital divide and to showcase some of the solutions.
