Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness: Art and the American Experience, 1660-1893

Features more than 200 pieces of art from the Yale University Art Gallery, including John Trumbull’s Revolutionary War scenes and silver crafted by Paul Revere. This will be the first time this collection has traveled from its home in New Haven, CT. It will be the largest art exhibition the Speed has ever hosted.

Third Annual Original Oldham Studio Tour and Art Sale

The Studio Tour showcases the work of more than 35 Oldham County artists. Each of the 14 stops on the self-directed tour will feature work by these artists, demonstrations, and refreshments. Maps are available; Studio Tour signs are posted at each studio as well as along the county roads. Studios are open free of charge to the public. The Westport General Store will display artwork by all participating artists now through the tour weekend.

American Tapestry Alliance: Biennial 7

The Biennial is a juried exhibition that highlights the art of some of the best contemporary tapestry weavers in the world. The exhibition curator was Susan Warner Keene, a Canadian fiber artist, educator, and independent writer and curator.
