on October 17 at 1:00 pm/12:00 noon CT on Star Channel 703.
Cassius Marcellus Clay (1810-1903), emancipationist and cousin of Kentucky statesman Henry Clay, is credited with
urging President Abraham Lincoln to sign the Emancipation Proclamation freeing American slaves.
This Kentucky history field trip is FREE and appropriate for students in grades 4-12.
