In November 2002, Kentuckians cast ballots for one U.S. Senator and six U.S. Representatives. KET invited all of the candidates in these races to take part in televised forums. The congressional forums, moderated by Bill Goodman of KET’s Kentucky Tonight, featured a panel of journalists asking questions of each candidate. Because the two Senate campaigns did not come to agreement on a date for a face-to-face forum, that program includes separately pre-taped statements from the two candidates.
