KET Election Coverage

Primary 2008

The Vote
Tuesday, May 20 at 9:00/8:00 pm CT on KET1

In this presidential election year, Kentuckians will also vote in a U.S. Senate race, including contested primaries in both the Republican and Democratic parties, and six U.S. House races, four of which include contested primaries. Also on the ballot are all Kentucky House of Representatives seats, half of the seats in the Kentucky Senate, and a long list of judicial races.

On Primary Election Day, Tuesday, May 20, Bill Goodman and Renee Shaw will co-host Primary 2008: The Vote, an hour of returns and analysis covering the presidential primary, U.S. House and Senate races, and key state legislative races. They will be joined in the studio by political observer Al Cross.

KET’s Primary 2008 coverage began with a series of forums with candidates in contested congressional races, which are archived below.
