During April and May 2004, KET produced seven live candidate forums in contested congressional primaries. All candidates whose names appeared on the ballot were invited to participate.

The forums were moderated by Bill Goodman, host of KET’s Kentucky Tonight. Two journalists asked questions of each candidate. When more than one candidate appeared, they also were given an opportunity to question one another.
