About Us

KET — Kentucky Educational Television is the sponsor of GED 2002 Online Professional Development. KET is widely acknowledged as the foremost producer of video instruction for GED, adult basic skills, and workplace education.


DAEL — The Kentucky Department for Adult Education and Literacy (DAEL) is the funder of GED 2002 Online Professional Development. DAEL assists adults throughout Kentucky in acquiring knowledge and developing the potential to achieve their goals in the workplace, at home, and in society.


Learning Unlimited is the developer of GED 2002 Online Professional Development and has also been involved in the development of the PBS LiteracyLink® GED Connection materials. Caren Van Slyke, president and founder of Learning Unlimited, began her adult education career as a GED teacher.


Susan Pittman and Bonnie Vondracek are veteran educators. Respected trainers at the state and national levels, Bonnie and Susan were chosen to provide the national GED 2002 teacher training workshops sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education and the GED Testing Service. They are the principal writers for GED 2002 Online Professional Development.


Steve Loper is an e-learning graphic designer, programmer, and webmaster in both the corporate and education arenas. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Steve earned his high school diploma through the GED testing program and is now able to share his expertise through the GED 2002 Online Professional Development web site.
