Basic Facts About the Science Test

  • The Science Test has 50 multiple-choice items.
  • 50 percent of the items refer either to graphics or to a reading passage accompanied by graphics.
  • Science content areas include:
    • Life Science 45%
    • Earth and Space Science 20%
    • Physical Science 35%
  • The test is 80 minutes long.
