• Click on Tools in the menu bar at the top of the screen. A drop-down menu will appear.
• Choose Internet Options from the drop-down menu. A new window will pop up.
• Click on Security in the row of tabs at the top, then click on the Custom Level button near the bottom of the pop-up window.
• Scroll down until you find the Scripting heading in the list (it’s near the bottom). Under the Active Scripting subhead, click on the radio button next to Enabled. A black dot will indicate that JavaScript is on.

If you are using Netscape®:

• Click on Edit in the menu bar at the top. A drop-down menu will appear.
• Choose Preferences from the drop-down menu. A new window will pop up.
• In the category list on the left, click on Advanced.
• Click on the box next to Enable JavaScript. A check mark will indicate that JavaScript is on.
