Some people say that if the Internet were a bicycle, using America Online or a similar online service would be like having a bike with training wheels. That's not such a bad thing if you are a beginner on the Internet. If you use the Internet directly through a browser, such as Explorer or Netscape Navigator, you may need a few tips. [Bike]


Most people use whatever browser is installed on their computer. If you subscribe to an Internet provider, such as AOL, then you will be using that provider's browser. All browsers are quite similar. For this orientation, you will be viewing Navigator and Explorer, currently the most popular browsers.
