Kentucky GED Study at Home Program
Enrollment Information and Schedule
What Is the KET GED Connection Program?
The GED Connection Program is provided by KET for adults in Kentucky who have not had the opportunity to finish high school. It allows you to study at home for the GED Diploma.
KET offers several enrollment sessions per year. Each session involves watching 39 30-minute programs on KET and completing lessons in three GED workbooks. The enrollment fee of $40 covers the workbooks, a pre-test to determine what you need to study the most, a GED Practice Test at the end of your studies, and the current cost of taking the GED Test at your local Official Testing Center. (The test fee alone is currently $40 if you take it without being enrolled in GED Connection.) Telephone tutoring is also available each weekday. All GED Connection student support services are provided through mail, telephone, and television, except the actual GED Test, which you take at one of the official testing centers in Kentucky.
The GED Connection Student Support Office is located at Morehead State University.
