It Figures is designed to help students develop mathematical skills, understand mathematical ideas, learn problem-solving strategies, and communicate about mathematics.

Each program presents an instructional drama in which children confront a problem that a mathematical skill, idea, or strategy can help solve. At mid-point, the drama pauses for a review of the program topic presented in the form of an animated “fractured fairy tale.”
