This 25-minute video for high school students, teachers, counselors, and administrators addresses barriers that sometimes discourage students with disabilities from pursuing a college education. Students with learning or physical disabilities talk about their experiences at a wide range of colleges and universities: what college life is like for them, how they chose a school, what types of accommodations they needed to succeed, and how they got the help they needed. The students interviewed represent large universities, small colleges, and technical schools as well as a wide range of majors.

A 2002 co-production of KET and the Kentucky Developmental Disabilities Council.

Program of Studies:
All Practical Living disciplines: Career Awareness, Exploration, Planning, Employability Skills
