These nine dramas explore stereotyping, discrimination, and racism from a child’s point of view. Each open-ended program focuses on a child who is trying to come to terms with his or her background. We get a glimpse of the child’s home life as the drama unfolds.

The stories deal with stereotyping based on language, religion, dress, ethnic background, and race. As these dramas show, it is ultimately the child who must deal with the pain and find solutions that ensure the preservation of his or her self-respect and human rights. Each program leaves viewers with the child’s dilemma unsettled, opening the door to continued discussion in the classroom.
