These four programs for primary classrooms introduce the six simple machines, explain the basic mechanical principles behind them, and illustrate how combinations of these machines make up more complex mechanisms.

101. Compound Machines
Identifying the six simple machines within more complicated machines and equipment.
102. Inclined Plane, Wedge, Screw
Axle the Robot demonstrates how these three simple machines help to do work faster, make work easier, or change the direction of effort.
103. Lever, Wheel and Axle, Pulley
The principles behind each of these simple machines are illustrated and demonstrated with common situations and tools.
104. Work and Energy
Discusses and illustrates potential and kinetic energy as well as forces such as friction that slow objects down.
