This highly visual tour of the processes that keep life operating is designed to interest students and provide them with a new understanding of the fundamental units of life. Correlated to the National Science Standards, each program includes free, downloadable teaching guides. The series can be used as an introduction to the in-depth cell biology program Visualizing Cell Processes in grades 10 and up.

102. The Outer Envelope
The cell membrane, membrane behavior and cell walls, osmosis, transport proteins, and endocytosis.
103. How Cells Obtain Energy
ATP, the cell's energy carrier; mitochondria, the cell's powerhouses; photosynthesis; light reactions of photosynthesis; light-independent reactions.
104. How Cells Are Constructed
How enzymes and other proteins are made.
105. How Cells Reproduce
DNA structure, DNA replication, mitosis, mutation, and DNA repair.
