My America explores the basics of American government in a new and innovative way. Topics include how laws are made, the ideals of a democratic government, and the rights and responsibilities of citizens in a democracy. The instructional techniques and activities in these programs encourage students to participate actively in their schools and communities and to become a part of the democratic process.

The final two programs, for teachers and parents, demonstrate how to use the series in a multicultural classroom.
