Five hundred years ago, a wide variety of Native American peoples occupied all of the lands of North America. This series introduces students to some of those cultures by region. Through stunning live-action cinematography, each program shows the continuity of customs, culture, and history among the Native Americans of each region, helping students develop appreciation and understanding of this shared heritage.

101. Indians of California
Chronicles the lifeways of West Coast Indians through the memories of a child's Yokuts grandmother.
102. Indians of the Northwest
Historical reenactments tell the story of the Northwest Coast Indians, and modern-day tribe members explain cultural traditions.
103. Indians of the Plains
A young Plains Indian boy and his father find an arrowhead in their field, prompting the father to tell his son the history of his people.
104. Indians of the Southeast
Chronicles the settlement of the Southeast by Native Americans and their contact with European explorers in the 16th and 17th centuries.
105. Indians of the Southwest
Reenactments of the history and traditions of the Navajo people.
