Position Details/Eligibility
This unpaid internship is available year-round. One intern is needed each semester. Junior-, senior-, and graduate-level students attending any Kentucky college or university and Kentucky residents attending a college or university out of state may apply.
10 hours per week (approximately 150 hours per semester) are required, although special arrangements may be made when school requirements differ.
Duties
The intern will perform various duties related to child care training. Such tasks may include writing content for newsletter publications, maintaining the ChildCare training listserv, analyzing program registration and evaluation data for future offerings, entering training data into database, and searching for Child Development programming content.
Special Skills Required
Applicants must be articulate and have good oral and written communication skills. Must know Microsoft Word. Some Internet and database knowledge will be required.
