Eligibility |
This unpaid internship is available year-round. One intern is needed each semester. Junior-, senior-, and graduate-level students attending any Kentucky college or university and Kentucky residents attending a college or university out of state may apply.
10 hours per week (approximately 150 hours per semester) are required, although special arrangements may be made when school requirements differ.

| Duties |
The intern will assist the image producers in implementing KET’s on-air image/marketing objectives. Duties include the following:
- Pre-production: timing, research, scripting.
- Production: logging shots, operating teleprompter, proofreading graphic text, conducting research, and assisting with field production.
- Post Production: logging tapes, digitizing footage, basic editing.

| Special Skills Required |
Non-linear editing experience, strong clerical and organizational skills, basic computer skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and previous television production experience. |
