Jim Hurst
Two-time International Bluegrass Music Association Guitar Player of the Year Jim Hurst plays a variety of music, including bluegrass and blues. He has toured with Trisha Yearwood, Holly Dunn, and other premier artists and was featured on Sara Evans’ chart-topping album No Place That Far. Bluegrass Unlimited magazine called him “a red-hot flatpicking guitarist, a strong, soulful vocalist, and a dexterous, versatile fingerpicker.”
Jim’s solo album Second Son features many new songs from great songwriters and a few classics that he arranged and adapted.
